We will be moving to our new location at The RailYard building (1414 S. Tryon St.) in South End this summer in commemoration of the gallery’s 40th anniversary. We are grateful to be in the process of constructing a new gallery space, which takes on a new meaning in the midst of a worldwide pause, reset, and rebuild on the horizon. We are excited to share the construction process with you on this page. Scroll through to follow along on our gallery’s construction in progress.

As a way to kick things off, we commissioned Chapel Hill-based artist, Mary Carter Taub, to create a site-specific installation on our future gallery facade. Mary is known for energizing public space through play and color, shifting the way it is experienced. Check out the images below and swing by to see the installation in person!
